A new series of smartphones might be launched soon

Samsung already has quite a few lineups of smartphones like Galaxy A, Galaxy Note and Galaxy S, but it looks like the South Korean company wants to introduce a new one.

Samsung Galaxy H1 and Galaxy H7 name have been recently trademarked by the handset maker, though aside from the fact that they will be smartphones, there aren't any other details available.

Spotted recently by Dutch blog GalaxyClub, the trademarks have been registered at Korean Intellectual Property Office, which suggests that these smartphones will be launched in South Korea.

Samsung has just started the marketing campaign for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, which are expected to hit shelves on April 10 in more than 20 countries.

Although the company may have the time and resources to launch a new lineup of smartphones, we doubt Samsung will want to sabotage the release of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge on the market.

One thing is certain, all names trademarked by Samsung in the past have been released as smartphones or tablets, so we can safely assume that there will be something coming out with the Galaxy H1 and Galaxy H7 names tagged on them.

We'll be keeping an eye out of any additional details on Samsung's new Galaxy H series, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
