Good news for Galaxy Note 4 owners, as Samsung has finally started the rollout of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in more countries. The South Korean company released the update in Poland several weeks ago, but only for resting purposes.

Today, the folks over at SamMobile report Lollipop for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 went live in more countries, which is an indication that the update should be available worldwide in the next couple of weeks.

For the time being, Galaxy Note 4 owners in several countries confirmed they have successfully captured the update. Users in Brazil, UAE and Baltic region should start checking their smartphones for Android 5.0 Lollipop by heading to Settings / About Phone / Software update.

In the same piece of news, US-based carrier Verizon has also announced it has started to deploy the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

The upgrade is delivered OTA (over the air) in stages, so it might not be available for everyone at the same time.

Keep in mind that the update is about 1GB in size, so make sure your smartphone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network and that your battery is at least 50% charged. The update shouldn't erase anything from your Galaxy Note 4, but we recommend making a backup just in case.
