There have been rumors earlier this month that Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 might receive Android 5.0.2 Lollipop updates sometime in June.

Well, it looks like they were partially accurate meaning that Samsung Galaxy A5 has already started to received the update, but it's only available in Poland.

This means that the South Korean company plans to start pushing the update to other countries beginning in June. The soft launch in Poland is to make sure that there are no major bugs that they have missed in the final build.

We expect more countries to add to the list of locations where Lollipop is available for Samsung Galaxy A5. As for the Galaxy A7, we still don't have any confirmation on the availability of Lollipop, but since Samsung has already kicked off the push for Galaxy A5, it should be close.

According to YouMobile, the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy A5 is pushed OTA (over the air) in waves. The file is about 920MB in size, so make sure you have enough storage space before attempting to download it.

The update should bring major changes and many new features, including Material Design, enhanced notification panel, additional connectivity option and lots of performance improvements.
