T-Mobile gives a new Galaxy S6 to the US comedian

When high-profile tech companies roll out new products, they usually tend to give some for free to celebrities as part of marketing stumps.

T-Mobile is currently selling the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge under its banner, but in an attempt to boost sales, the carrier has also offered one of the new flagships to Nick Cannon.

And what did Nick Cannon do after receiving his high-end gift from T-Mobile? He went on to Twitter and praised it a little bit, of course. But apparently, he forgot one thing, one very crucial thing.

In his Tweet, Cannon talks about how advanced the camera on the new phone is, saying that the snapper “on the phone is insane.” What might have seem a genuine praise for Samsung’s new flagships was ripped to pieces with the addition of the hashtag #ad.

To make matters even worse, Cannon posted this Tweet from his iPhone, as it is clearly revealed by the “via Twitter for iPhone” mention visible at the bottom of the post.

So instead of hiring celebrities who clearly aren’t genuinely interested in the product per-se, carriers might turn to a new tactic of hiring brand fanatics to help promote the device.
