Microsoft updated last month some of its Android applications, including OneDrive and Outlook. Today, another app, OneNote received a small but important update that brings some improvements and a few new features into the mix.

The latest version of the Android application allows users to sign in to OneNote using their School or Work O365 account without having them sign in first with their personal account.

But that's not all. According to Microsoft, its engineers have also added support for ADAL (Azure AD Authentication Library), which means that if users’ School or Work requires ADAL, they will be able to use OneNote.

These are all the changes included in this update, but OneNote users can rest assured that Microsoft will continue to deliver new features and enhancements to its Android applications.

You can now download OneNote for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.1 and up.

Keep in mind that you will need a free Microsoft account in order to use OneNote. It's also worth mentioning that in order to sync notes to OneDrive Pro, you will need to sign in with your organization's Office 365 or SharePoint account.
