Microsoft's Lumia 635 with Windows Phone 8.1 has been released on the market back in June 2014, and since its launch it has mostly been sold for around $100.

As of lately though, the Lumia 635 can be had for just $48.99 in the United States. However, for a very short time, Amazon US will sell the smartphone for just $30, which is quite a good deal for those looking for a second smartphone.

Unfortunately, this is the 512MB RAM version of Lumia 635, not the 1GB RAM model. Still, for $30 you can get this Windows Phone 8.1 handset for any of the three carriers Amazon has it in stock: AT&T, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.

The Lumia 635 will be part of Amazon's Lightning Deals promotional offers, which means it won't be available for $30 for too long.

The deal will be open beginning 3AM EST (12AM PST), so make sure you take advantage of it as quickly as possible.

For those out of the loop, Lumia 635 is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal memory and microSD card slot (up to 128GB).

It also sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating. There's also a 5-megapixel camera on the back with HD (720p) video recording.
