Although Cortana, Microsoft's personal digital assistant has been confirmed to arrive on Android and iOS platforms, it will take some time for the Redmond-based company to deliver on that promise.

This means that until then only Windows Phone users will continue to be able to take advantage of Cortana's many features.

That being said, you might want to know that Microsoft has just updated its OneDrive application for Windows Phone with new features related to Cortana.

Even though the official changelog contains more changes, the most important is the fact that OneDrive users will now be able to search using Cortana.

How are you going to achieve that? It's rather simple if you know what to ask. Well, according to Microsoft, you only need tell Cortana “OneDrive search for cats” and you will have your cat pictures found in a second.

So, everytime you need to find something simply tell Cortana “OneDrive Search for ...” and then what exactly you're looking for.

The update should also brings some bug fixes and performance improvements, but no other details on any of them have been shared.

Make sure to update to the latest version of OneDrive for Windows Phone if you want to take advantage of Cortana integration.
