The fifth installment in the Dungeon Hunter series has just been confirmed to arrive on March 12. The game was teased several weeks ago when Gameloft said Dungeon Hunter 5 would be launched on iOS “soon.”

Today, the French company confirmed its hack and slash mobile game would be unleashed on Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms on March 12.

As expected, the game will look better than the one before, but that's not the only improvement Dungeon Hunter 5 proposes. First of all, the game will come with a new asynchronous multiplayer mode called Strongholds.

The single-player campaign will take you through 5 realms and an enormous number of dungeons. A new evolution system will be implemented as well, such as the option to evolve the loot gear up your power.

There will also be Daily and Weekly Event, which will offer great rewards for those who manage to complete them. Gameloft also confirmed that the game would feature “next generation AAA graphics with full support for Metal on iOS” at launch.

Last but not least, the game promises to allow you to hire your friends or other players as Allies to help on your journey. Check out below the announcement trailer released by Gameloft.
