ASUS’ latest and greatest will start selling in the US soon

ASUS made available a lower-end version of the ZenFone 2, with 2GB of RAM on board, on Amazon a few days ago, offering it with a $219 / €203 price tag attached.

The beefed-up 4GB of RAM version, however, was nowhere in sight. This is not the case anymore, as the ASUS ZenFone 2 with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, and either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage is currently available via the online retail giant.

The model sells in the company’s own turf for an amazing $285 / €265, but sadly, US customers will have to pay a little bit more for the model. Amazon is offering the phone with a $395 / €367 price tag. Nevertheless, we’re still considering the phone quite affordable.

This ZenFone 2 model also dons an Intel Atom Z3580 chip clocked at 2.3GHz on the inside, a chunky 3,000 mAh battery, and Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box.

Yesterday, we told you that the same ZenFone 2 with 4GB of RAM would also be coming to India on April 23 and Malaysia on April 21.

Unfortunately, pricing specifications aren't yet available, but as you can see in the case of the US market, the phones will end up selling for a bit more than in Taiwan.
