Google has just released a new update for the beta version of Chrome for Android. The new version has already been launched on Google Play Store for some users and will be rolled out to everyone in the next few hours.

The new version is 42.0.2311.38, and according to Google, it includes new features, along with general bug fixes and improvements.

Unlike many of the previous updates delivered to Chrome beta for Android, the newest one adds some nice cool features that will improve the application's functionality.

First of all, Chrome beta for Android users will notice there's a new notifications feature, which provides users with the latest updates from websites.

Another new feature will allow Chrome beta for Android users to add their favorite websites to their home screen much easier. Last but not least, bug fixes and speedy performance improvements have been added in the latest update as well.

If you don't have the application installed yet, you can now download Chrome Beta for Android for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application is fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.

Given the fact that this is a beta version, you will probably encounter bugs and issues with some of the features, but once reported they are usually fixed by Google in future updates.
