The most popular unofficial Instagram client for Windows Phone devices, 6tag has just received a major update that brings lots of visual and under-the-hood changes.

The most important seems to be the fact that it now features a completely new design, which has been adapted to Windows 10 operating system that's expected to be released later today.

Along with the new design changes, developer Rudy Huyn confirmed the update should improve the search feature, so users will now be able to search places and user / hashtags / places at the same time.

Also, with the latest version of 6tag, users can now press and hold the camera button within the application bar to directly select a file.

Apart from these changes, Rudy Huyn announced that a new update that should already be available for download will bring a new gesture to open the application bar, as well as a smaller application bar for phablet. The newest 6tag update should also add infinite loading of tagged images.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download 6tag for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
