Rainlendar Lite For Mac

Calendar apps that can keep track of both upcoming events and tasks that need to be performed prove to be extremely useful, especially if you have a hectic schedule. Rainlendar Lite is a Mac app designed to help you stay on top of your timetable by placing your calendar in a highly visible position.

The Rainlendar Lite capabilities are focused around 3 small windows: Calendar, Events List, and Todo List. Via the app’s status bar menu you can specify which ones should be enabled, while in the Options panel you can specify their location: always on top, normal, or on the Desktop.

The status bar menu allows you to navigate to the previous or next month, to the previous or next year, or skip to a specific month: this way, you can also use the Rainlendar Lite app to plan your projects.

Note that Rainlendar Lite does not integrate with your Calendar.app, so it will not display the events scheduled using the Apple vetted application. To add new entries to the  Rainlendar Lite events and tasks lists, you must go via the status bar menu.

Moreover, Rainlendar Lite offers you the possibility to adjust the way in which you view the calendar: you can set up the week start day, adjust the window opacity, specify the calendars that should be included (each task or event is assigned to a calendar, and you can define new calendars in the Options menu), change the interface skins, and more.

Rainlendar Lite includes basic event scheduling capabilities, can keep a list of upcoming tasks, and allows you to visualize and navigate a calendar representation. The notable function however, is the fact that all this information can be kept on your desktop all the time, in a very unobtrusive manner.
