Although iOS 9 GM was released only two days ago, an untethered jailbreak has already been demoed by iH8sn0w on his YouTube channel.

As announced on his Twitter account (see tweet below), iH8sn0w has released a video showing an iPhone running the latest iOS 9 Build 13A340 booting in verbose mode.

Furthermore, the footage shows the iPhone running the Cydia tool designed to allow users to find and install free and commercial iOS applications on jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod touch devices.

The iOS Anemone theming engine is also present on the iOS 9 jailbroken iPhone, ready to make it possible to quickly customize the interface of almost all default apps.

Besides the verbose mode boot, iH8sn0w also demoed code injection and custom boot logo capabilities for the new untethered jailbreak.

This iOS 9 jailbreak proves that Apple did not include its rumored Rootless feature meant to deter such attempts or that, although enabled, this kernel-level security features can be circumvented.

The questions remaining are when will this be released and if it can also be used for jailbreaking iPhones, iPads or iPod touches running the latest iOS 9.1 Build 13B5110e Beta pre-release.
