Gives Josh Earnest extra time to come up with an answer

Barrack Obama's policy regarding Iran seems to be on the list of interests of Apple's Siri personal assistant after its impromptu intervention with an answer to a journalist's question about this subject.

As spotted by C-Span, during the September 10, 2015, White House press briefing, Siri activated on the iPhone of one of the reporters attending the meeting, and after listening for a while and waiting for a voice command, it picked up on the question currently being asked.

After sorting out what was being asked, Siri replied with "I’m sorry, I’m not sure what you want me to change," to the amusement of everyone in the room.

Although not an official White House spokeswoman, Siri did manage to give Josh Earnest, the White House press secretary the extra time he needed to come up with an answer to why the White House cannot persuade the US Congress to sign an agreement and its stonewalling tactics.

I don't know if Apple ever thought about their iOS personal assistant as being capable of attending press briefings and answering press questions, but given the way it came up with an appropriate answer on the spot, Siri's career in public relations should not be dismissed.

Moreover, since Apple made it even more intelligent, and it is currently in the process of boosting up its artificial intelligence department, Siri seems to have a bright future.
