Apple launched the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus not so long ago, but the device is yet to reach the wide masses. However, some lucky users have already managed to get their hands on the new gadget, and some even got to test it out a little bit.

Brad Mangin from Sports Illustrated is one such user, and luckily he was kind enough to share with us what appear to be the first camera samples taken with the iPhone 6s Plus.

Mangin was present at a recent US baseball game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Francisco Giants and he took his new shiny gadget with him to snap a few pictures.

You’ll see in the gallery that he managed to shoot some pretty nifty close-ups and also wide shots of the entire stadium to show that the camera can capture details of people in the crowd. You’ll also notice a few black and white shots, plus some images where light and colors abound.

The results look very promising and it seems that Apple has managed to improve upon the camera capabilities of the iPhone 6. After all, the iPhone 6s launched with Apple’s first 12MP snapper and bundles other great tricks like phase detection autofocus, optical image stabilization, and dual tone LED flash.

Check out the gallery and let us know in the comment section what you think of the pictures.
