The Robin is the world's first cloud smartphone

Apple's just released iPhone 6s will most probably be compared with lots of other currently available smartphones or with the latest phone concepts.

Martin Hajek has just published one such comparison on his blog, with Apple's iPhone 6s being compared with the soon-to-see-the-light-of-day Nextbit Robin.

Although you may have never heard about Robin, the device has been developed by people that previously worked at Apple, Google, Amazon, Motorola, Skype and HTC, among many others, and it's being engineered and manufactured by Foxconn, Apple's partner of choice when it comes to building huge amounts of devices in the shortest time possible.

Nextbit's Android-based Robin looks very promising, as it should come with a cloud-based operating system and a Lumia-inspired design featuring bold straight edges.

The case's material seems to be a high quality plastic and, according to the project's Kickstarter page, it should also feature a Snapdragon 808 chipset, a 2680 mAh battery, a 5.2-inch IPS display and a 13 MP camera.

In turn, Apple's iPhone 6s comes with 4.7-inch Retina display, an A9 processor with an embedded M9 motion coprocessor, a rumored 1715 mAh battery, and a 12 MP iSight camera.

Although the Robin might seem to win the battle on paper, we should keep in mind that the devices come with different OSs, and the iPhone's battery capacity has not officially been announced by Apple.

If you were to put your money on either of the two, what device do you think would win? Would Nextbit's Robin Android smartphone with a cloud OS provide a better user experience than Apple's iPhone 6s?

To end the comparison on a high note, here are the presentation videos for both devices:
