An upcoming tweak called iOS Blocks, engineered by third-party developers, makes furors among iPhone and iPad users these days, as it promises to bring some sort of hybrid widgets on your iOS screen that can be integrated alongside the standard app icons.

Apparently, the tweak is in development for some time now, as it was first introduced as an idea and quietly worked on. Watch the concept video at the end of the article to get an idea about what iOS Blocks can do for your iPhone/iPad devices. Of course, the video is not real!

If iOS Blocks turns out to be real after all, as the below tweet confirms, it will definitely change the way you interact with your iDevice. More precisely, you will be able to pinch an app icon in order to expand its size to a 2x2 block that integrates some interactive functionality.

Personally, I enjoy the live tiles of Windows Phone, so the iOS Blocks tweak might come in handy and spice things up on my iPhone. I have my reasons to believe that it will clearly not look and act exactly like what you see in the concept video, and it will most probably require jailbreak.
