Thomson Reuters Corporation has released its first full-fledged TV app for iPhone and iPad, offering customers a personalized service with on-demand programming and live, unfiltered video feeds of “great events.”

Reuters TV comprises two services, the most important of which is REUTERS NOW. It’s a customized news show with coverage of national and international events. According to the iTunes description, the content is tailored to your interests and location, and you can choose the length of your news show, from 5 to 30 minutes.

The other service is called LIVE FEEDS, and as its name implies, it “allows you to watch world events that make the world stand still wherever you may be.” These include protests, speeches, and even sporting events.

Reuters TV is a free download, and you can use it for free for a full month, after which a $1.99 / €1.99 subscription will be required. It is worth noting that the app is not available in all parts of the world.

The app is localized only in English and is rated 12+. You’ll need iOS 8 to use it. The interface – which is highly polished, might I add – has been tailored to display natively on all versions of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
