14 DAY TRIAL // With more than 600,000 apps specifically tailored to run on iPads, it’s hard to say what a random user will choose to download from iTunes. But we have a pretty good guess about one particular habit that many iPad owners share.
If you want to make an idea of which apps are preferred by Apple users on a general basis, all you need to do is waltz over to the App Store and check the charts. Apple puts them there to highlight the who’s who in free, paid, and top grossing titles.
Looking over the last category, we discovered something interesting. Four of the ten apps listed there are gambling games. The Top Grossing chart may not be entirely indicative of the download trends on iPad, but it sure confirms the fact that people love to play casino games on their iPads. And they’re not shy of spending either. After all, that’s what gambling is all about.
